it's holding on as long as it can... this piece portrays the willingness to strive for every last moment lived... in my eyes, it screams "i cant give up now!" the sadness of eventually having to give up remains a prominent tone of the entire piece... but it is just amazing! im blown away by your work!! i keep looking through your gallery and i dont think ive found one i dont like... haha, very nicely done!

having been captivated by your photography, i decided to start way back at the beginning to see what other little treasures i could find. i love flower macros. i especially love lily flower macros. this is so classy. the negative space to the left makes it look like the flower is reaching out into the darkness, finally understanding the end has come. the b/w toning really adds to the overall melancholy feel you've captured. the details are so crisp, yet as the petals disappear into the black they soften. i really like that.

my new fav.
i am always prowling around new submissions looking for a fav to place on my user page. i generally always select a photograph for a lot of reasons but mainly because i dont own a camera, nor can i take decent shots, and i am always impressed by the photographers here at DA.
this is a lovely capture .. even in monochrome the moment nearing death is prominent. the detail in the reflection is captivating. very nice design.
