In one of the forums I visit frequently ( [link] ), they started this project, where you buy a dipsosable camera b&w or color...shoot your pictures and then share the 3 best pictures that you got out of it.
This here was one of mine
and I'm very pleased the way it turned out !You guys and girls should do the same, get a disposable camera and have some fun.
Photography doesn't always have to be so serious

I love the contrasting shapes of the fronds and the lily pads, and how the lily pads move off into the distance along the top of the picture, as if going on forever... it really gives depth to the image! Was it a large pond? Or was that merely a deception... ^_~
I like that idea the forum had. It encourages spontaneity and fun. Art SHOULD be fun. I should do that some time... ^_~

nice photo, when i was in NY with friends, my camera broke down, i ended the journey with a disposable camera of a friend, it was funny and something good came out. You are right, it's not always serious

it's a lovley shot indeed Marion. I love the way the clouds reflect in water at the top left and the long grass on the pond bank in the foreground adds for some interest. nice focus, nice composistion and fantasic levels!

most of the photos in my gallery are disposable!!! heh

Y'know, I always keep 2 or 3 color disposables in my camera bag...because you never know when you need to just pull it out and snap something super quickly!
