I have to confess, I bought this design on a flag on Amazon. I didn't know it was yours, but I'm happy to fly it outside my coffee shop. Now that I know, I'll post credit for the artwork.

I drew the "rays" colored them, and added texture.
No really it's not just step 1,2,3. I tried different things till it looked like i wanted

But how do you add the texture? 'Cuz i have tryed in a lot of images and i cant do it!
(Sorry if you dont understand but my lenguaje is not english and at the moment im a bit drunk )

phew ok, I believe the easiest way is to look here on deviantart in the resources>textures section. There are really awesome textures you can structure background with.
In my case I had some good brushes and I tried with them until it looked nice, don't ask me how I did that, I can't remember that in detail.
Also I would recommend you to read some Photoshop books(oh yeah all I said refer to PS CS1) or tutorials here.
