Happy Monday, dear watchers and watcherettes!It's unusual for me to actually update on a Monday. Mostly, I come around dA on Fridays, because that's when I relax and do a little surfing through the Galleries. This last Friday, though, i spent it working on something just for fun. And what's more fun than Battle Chasers' Red Monika?
I spent most of last week finishing up a couple of assignments for Manaworld ( [link] ), which reminded me of Battle Chasers and how much I loved Joe Mad's work. I even remember doing some fanart of Monika years ago... and when I stumbled upon it the other night, I knew I had to update it a bit.
It's funny how, when looking back, you realise how you've improved. Artists are usually so hard on themselves that we lose sight of the fact that we have come a long way.

funny to see you have a complete change of visual style and presentation on this one,mate.
I saw your pics over @ MW...and it was surprising to see you do those,but strangely fitting.As in you know how to do it,unlike some other artists i've seen that the R-Rated stuff just doesnt work with their style.Aces high to you,mate.
You never really seem to grow old and always stay super flexible in what you do
On a more constructive note,i really like the "out-framing" of the character instead of sticking them inside a panel.Did you try maybe to hide her legs behind the frame but not the rest,or even maybe to have her elbows touch the edges of the grey area? could be an interesting play on the frame that way...Very sexy eyes you gave her,appealing but not porn-y.
