Love this drawing and pose! However, I thought scimitars were thicker then that? I could be wrong...

There are a few kinds that are thicker, but most are pretty thin and elegant. Scimitar designs have really been messed with in popular games and films, so a lot of people aren't used to seeing the more historically accurate version, I think.
