Warning: Giant ass image here!Yay, finally finished! Took long enough too.
Anyway, here's Tropical Reservoir/Resort Zone of the upcoming Sonic Colors game for Wii and DS. Game is a spiritual sucessor to Sonic Unleashe's Daytime levels except you have more control of Sonic when running and more 2D and platforming action to make the game very similar to the classics.
New game gimmick, no swords, no werehog's, no emo hedgehogs with guns, none of that crap. Game introduces the multicolored Alien critters called Whisp's who introduce very awsome abilities like zipping across the road like lighting and digging through the ground. their are said to be 8 worlds, including Tropical Resort Zone, Sweet Mountain Zone, and a world shaped like Metal Sonic.
The game looks to be fantastic, nearly everyone has no negative things to say about the game at all, even IGN like the game and they usually hate Sonic games. People are going as far to say that this is the first TRUE 3D Sonic game without any annoying gimmicks or playing as other characters.

Yep, their back, also their seems to be the Spinners from Sonic Unleashed and Buzz Bombers from Sonic 2, this might be the first game that may combine all of Eggman's robot's together.

Y'know, I never thought playing as other characters was such a bad thing personally. 
But I admit, the game does sound nice. (Kinda surprising the game isn't getting any criticism yet, I've seen more people complain about Sonic 4!)

Too bad the DS version doesn't have Blaze playable, as it's technically a Sonic Rush 3. I only really cared for the main Sonic crew (Sonic, Eggman, Tails, Amy and Knuckles).
Blaze has always been my favorite New generation character, which made me a little sad hat she won't be in the DS game.

I can't say I'm that big a Blaze fan, but she did kinda grow on me a li'l after playing as her alot in SRA's Wi-Fi VS modes. (Neerly everyone on it always wants to be Sonic.)
If Sonic's the onley one playable in Sonic Colors (DS version) then I'd find that a bit disapointing, especially considering that might meen it won't have a VS mode.
(Wich is a shame 'cause I had alot of fun playing SRA's VS mode on-line. Especially in "find the most rings" mode.)

I know right? I've been behind Sonic all the way, cheering him on through all of those gimmicks... but it's nicer to go back to the basics, where it's just you, sonic and speed. I can't wait for Sonic Colors

Yep, and the Whisp power ups are an excellent gimmick to the game, they're more like power ups you would find in any 2D sidescroller/platformer like Mario, Rocket Knight, Mega Man, etc.
