Description
An egret flies over head en route to its evening resting place.Loved the golden light on its wings as the sun was setting.

nice light. did you sharpen the sky? There seems to be some noise/grain/artifacts going on. Or maybe the shot was underexposed and you brought it up in RAW? it's just a little distracting, great work with the bird and the light though.

i sharpened the entire image. It was shot at ISO800 thus there is slight noise. As this is only the web res image I didn't bother clening the background like I usually do
I never bring back underexposed shots unless they are only ever so slightly under. Too much noise to deal with

shhh, your exif says iso400 but i won't tell if you don't... haha. as long as you knew there it was there, i'm sure the print version looks good. great work.

I'll have to go and look at that cos that shouldn't be there at 400 unless I slightly overboosted the midtones :S
Yeah print it should be fine - you lose a lot of noise in print.
