I'd wanted to draw a picture of Maria for a long time, and this picture popped into my head. Shadow as a youngster, before he got jaded and cynical--just being happy. Poor guy. No wonder he's got problems now. :-pRelated content

I looked at this picture while listening to the song on the credits of
A Beautiful Mind (the name is All Love Can Be by Charlotte Church) and I started to think this would be a perfect song for Maria to be singing to Shadow when he was younger.

shadow isn't a clone, after he fell from the ARK he was rescued by one of eggman's robots, his data was used to create the other clones, which is why he was in an isolated tube in sonic heroes
