~.:Stuck in two worlds, not one or the other,
Away from my friend and away from my brother.
The memories haunt, this withering soul,
I'm drained of the life, I will never know.
Empty…
As the spirit I am, no shell of my own,
Forever I'll be an inaudible tone.
Since my tune wanders off, to no ears that can hear,
How lonely it is as this strengthens my fear.
Now at night I can dream, of a blissful escape,
But I'm scared to be drawn, from this place I await.
I just stay,
And pray
And listen,
And hope,
And wonder if lives I was close to don't choke.
And then I can dream, of a place I return,
And the past I can mend, as the old thoughts can turn,
Into memories filled, of all hopeful desires,
Not the painful return that sends truth to the fires.
They'll be waiting for me, filled with laughter and glee,
I'll be wanted once more, someone loved and adored.
But the pain strikes my heart, once these thoughts soon depart,
And I'm trapped once again, all alone in this land,
Things are empty they seem…
But at least… I can dream… .:~

first off.. you BETTER FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!
I really outdid myself didn't I? =3 Yes yes... this is probably my best work yet.. not to brag, I just reeeaaally love the way this came out is all... <3 Anyways, This is Din, my ghost Kyrii. She died a while back, and basically what this is about, is that no matter how much she will deny it, she longs to be alive again and see her friend and brother, and to be loved and welcomed. But that dream will never come true because she's only a spirit now. But this is her dream, her dream to be alive and accepted into the world for once.
Din is my most sorrowful charecter and has one of the saddest stories of all my pets. She slowly became like this, the reason why she is so sad and her story is very dreadful. She has got to be one of my favorite charecters of all time, because of the devolpment of her personality and design, (though honestly, I have not once changed her outfit.. O_o)
and just well, I love Din. <3 Probably my 1st anthro neopet as well. So I guess you could say this is a dedication to her.. n_n; I mean she IS dead and all... ._.;;
About the art: This picture took me two days strait to finish.. that's right, worked my ass off on it yesterday morning, (or wait, it's midnight.. so.. two days ago!) but anyways, I was just messing around on OC3 at 7 in the morning since I'd missed the bus and was waiting for my mom to drive me, and was totally inspired to draw this picture after viewing one of ~Kitokie 's drawings, so I'd like to give her a HUGE favor in giving me the ambition to draw this. and so I sketched the pose, liked it, and eventually got to the point of awesomeness in my book, so here it is.
I need to make some print-worthy pictures anyway, since I don't have a job and need to make some cash SOMEWAY. *sigh*
But well, I hope you enjoy. ^-^;
