Well, I guess I am woke, being aware of my own privilege, I try to maximize equality, I am anti-racist, anti -sexist, pro-choice, support universal health care and in favor of making the top income earners to pay more tax, to end gerrymanders, no matter which Party puts them in place, to introduce single, independent, electoral commission for all State and Federal elections, a fairer electoral system based in compromise, not first past the post, to allow third Party candidates a place in Congress, in fact, anything that leads to increased social mobility, the real key to wealth and social stability

Noam Chomsky has driven a lot of philosophical debate for the last century, it seems, We never listen though, why? Education is a precursor to understanding, and once we understand something we can embrace it or reject it. This is where the Absolutist argument falls down. Their argument is "you only have to agree with me, not understand it." It seems though that some people will just refuse to listen to any kind of warning.

Being a devout Catholic, Biden is surprisingly modern in his perceptions and perspectives. Underpinning most of his SOTU speech, the parts often interrupted by various knuckleheads, was a compassion and genuine concern for the people of the US, something totally undetectable in any of Trump's speeches or pronouncements.

Time to eat the rich, I suggest. Given that the wealthiest people in the world hold over $25 trillion, more than 30% of the entire world population.

What else would we expect?
