The color contrasts in this piece are exquisite. The warmer tones are strikingly beautiful against the cooler ones, making it eye-catching yet almost relaxing at the same time.
Overall, this is a very beautiful piece.

- this and your last piece, 'Rebirth' - well, brilliant - they look as if they could be part of a related series, maybe, like a panel-section for an elaborate open-out book of Kells or somesuch - really liked the Rebirth one too, if I'd spotted it first on epilogue I definitely would've given you the vote (if it was a votable thing, that is - ) - or if indeed I could even get into epilogue half the time...ahh, let's not get into that....
- anyway, another beautiful work!

Whoa! Slow down, Lady. You don't give me a chance to recover from the last piece that you submit!
Once again, it's incredibly detailed, with somewhat unnatural colours that seem to group together very naturally though. I think the technique and style is visibly a bit older, as you say, but the idea itself and the sheer beauty of it is every bit a match for the rest of your work. I love the look on her face, and the way that it bows into her hand. That, in my opinion, is indeed the look of hope. It's still melancholic, but in a beautiful positive manner. My favourite part is her wings. I love the variety of colours that you've used, and the details on it. The colours remind me of patterning on some eggs at around easter time. Your wet-in-wet technique is always brilliant, and I can tell that you've been learned in the ways for quite a while now!
It's no surprise that this piece is very dear to you. It's beautiful!

She ain't naked but that's alright! The way you draw folds on the clothes look beautiful, and they really look like they were etched into the paper. And its amazing how the yellows actually seem to glow on here! To me it looks like waves of fire or energy radiating from her-which I think is very cool! There's just too much good stuff in your work! The clouds are soft and soothing, the mountain feel craggy, and the angel actually feel like she's not flat or part of the background like what happens when everybody else uses watercolor. I think we can all learn something here, and that's...
NELL DID A PICTURE JUST FOR ME SUCKAS! MWAHAHAHA!!!
That had to be done. As always I just can't wait to see your next work of art!

Wow Nell, the colours have just grabbed me and blown me away. It looks fantastic. The dress fold look great. Is it me or am I seeing more of you in some of these images?
