"Just because something is imaginary doesn't mean it is not real." Imaginationland South Park
"I... Um... because I think... they are real. It's all real. Think about it. Haven't Luke Skywalker and Santa Claus affected your lives more than most real people in this room?
I mean, whether Jesus is real or not, he... he's had a bigger impact on the world than any of us have.
And the same could be said of Bugs Bunny and, a-and Superman and Harry Potter.
They've changed my life, changed the way I act on the Earth. Doesn't that make them kind of "real."?
They might be imaginary, but, but they're more important than most of us here. And they're all gonna be around long after we're dead.
So in a way, those things are more realer than any of us."

If you fill your mind and heart with junk, then out of your mouth and heart comes junk.
If you take your advice on life from a cartoon, then it's a clear sign you never looked to find the truth to begin with.
There is the spiritual and the physical...
You can be in a right spirit or a wrong one.
There is no reason for you to leave a mocking comment about Jesus to this artwork, if you really believe he doesn't exist.
Only hate and insecurity motivates you in doing this.
I hope you will reconsider your actions, even after all this time.
I hope you will consider learning more about God and be saved. God wants none to perish, but it is our choice to love
a broken and fallen world full of lies, or to be redeemed and healed from those corrupt influences that leave us jaded.

Don't call wisdome junk. It is not about what is real, but of what makes you happy.
I can not bring myself to be a religious person.
I can not believe in Gods and Angels and Heavens and Hells. It all sounds too limiting, too convenient and too anthropomorphic.
I don't think religious people are wrong in believing in it however.
What matters is that you believe in something that fulfills you and as long as they don't try to enforce their morals and beliefs on me, whatever makes them happy is just fine with me.
But I'm not ready to believe there is nothing after we die either.
It may well be true. But its just as possible that it isn't. Looking superficially at the world, you may be led to believe that there is no life after death. That there is no God, no Creator of any kind, for if there is one, who created him ?
But what do we really know about our existence ? To examine that, lets ask the most basic questions:
Who What Why Where When Who......
Who = are we? Yes we are humans, but are we alone, are we unique in the universe, or are there others like us? Do we die and disappear or do we live on in some way? We have no context. Nothing to compare us to except other animals born on our planet, from which we ourselves have evolved. Given the size and richness of the universe, that's a pretty small sample.
What = What are we?
Yes we are living organisms of biological origin. But we know so little. How do our bodies really work? We have advanced immensely but we still can't change them, can't stop them from getting cancer or aging. We know much less of our brains. We don't really understand how they work and we're nowhere near imitating them. Of matter, we know its mostly empty space. We're not even allowed to look deep into it because by looking, we change it.
Why = Why are we here?
The universe does not need us. It would get along fine without us. So why did it generate us? We don't serve any purpose and fulfill no apparent need.
Where = Where are we? The universe is big. Too big for us to understand. Where does it end? Even if they told us the answer; would we understand it? We would keep asking -- ok, so what's outside that? When Like the Where, this is a question we can not know the answer to. Would never be able to understand it.
When = When did time start? Any possible answer would beg the question -- ok, what was there before that?
So we can't even answer the Who, What, Why, Where and When of our existence. We can see that we probably wouldn't even understand the answers. We're playing in a game where we don't know and maybe can't know all the rules. Given that, how can we be anything but agnostic Some people say its cowardice.
They say: "You are only an agnostic because you linger on to your need of a daddy and are afraid to be alone and afraid of the repercussions in case there is a God. You should be brave. Do away with God, you don't need him."
I find that so childish.. Like a schoolyard dare. I don't need backing. I don't need a peer group. We all die alone.
The only thing I want is the truth. A truth I can believe. Since we've seen how much we don't know, how can we know there is no higher power ? Not even a cold and uncaring one.
How can we know there's nothing after we die ? I'm an agnostic because I haven't given up wondering. Hasn't given up thinking. And based on what I know to be true, an agnostic is the only thing I can be.
Good week to you

But if what makes you happy leads to death, is it good?
A person can unknowingly do something, unaware of the negative effects it has.
When I talk about God, I don't mean to say you should be a religious person...
But I think it's partly the way we look at it... We can look at "religion" superficially from the outside, without knowing the inner meaning of it.
We can make assumptions about it, rejecting what we don't know.
The power behind it is a life-saving one, from a loving God who wants to save us from death.
I never would have considered myself a religious person before... But it's not about being religious, but knowing the truth and being thankful for it.
When you don't know the truth, I think it would be annoying for someone else to say they have it... when you don't...
But it's a dangerous thing to believe there is no truth, or to believe whatever we want as our truth. That is creating a false reality. And everything else does lead to death.
The reality is we do exist, we are here, and there is a Creator, God. And in the end we have a choice, to know and follow Jesus (God) , or to live by the ways of a broken and fallen world.
Without God, we can stay in darkness, and even the darkness becomes our light. Our thinking is not clear.
It is just as God said would happen.. Evil would be seen as good, and good would be seen as evil. Without the truth, we don't have a standard and can imagine false things as what is right.
But we can see that this world is corrupt in so many ways, not doing what is right.
I would not expect you to believe in heaven, hell, and angels right away... For them to be real, that's an overwhelming concept to begin with isn't it?
But so is our own existence... we just take it for granted.. we take it for what we know to be normal, because we are living it.
So, we can start with smaller truths and build our way up to greater knowledge, a foundation of understanding that builds our faith.
If God wanted blind faith, then we wouldn't need scripture and a multitude of evidence at all.
I can't convince you, I can only encourage you.
But if you ever did change your mind and think.. well, what have I got to lose, to see if maybe I could be wrong somehow...
And do take the time to seek a different kind of understanding than what you've tried before.
Even though I don't know you, I care about you and can only hope you will take the time...
I can only let you know that I have the experience of being someone who didn't know the truth before, and there is a vast difference in my perception and ability to understand that I couldn't get from just reading scripture at a surface level. What also helped me was unfortunately that some very difficult circumstances had to shake me out of my indifference and stubbornness..
I was literally faced with a life or death decision. I chose to hang on for the sake of finding out if there really was any power and truth to be found about God, something I didn't realize, that was worth enduring for.
Knowledge of the truth and acceptance of God is something much greater than a lifestyle choice, an imaginary philosophy on life that gives someone fulfillment before they die.
No, it is truly our only hope, to know the truth, and accept life over death.
There is a lot of joy and peace to be found in actually being sure that God is real and that you are saved... in really being able to appreciate all that he has created and know what
he intends for us once this time comes to an end. Life is beautiful, and it's such an amazing thing not worth giving up knowing in all it's fullness without corruption.
I am looking forward to it, and I hope you will be able to know that you can look forward to it as well.
God came and dwelt among us as Jesus, he lived a sinless life and died an innocent death. He died the death we all deserve for committing sin.
When he died, he cried out " It is finished!" Because the debt had been paid in full for the sin of the world. He died and rose again 3 days later, overcoming death itself.
Sin separates us from God, from a holy standard. But God is loving and knew this to be the case and is why our only hope is found in Jesus.
We cannot be good enough, we all fall short. We cannot be self-righteous and earn salvation.
So it is only if we admit that we have sinned, repent and turn away from it, putting out trust in Jesus, we will be saved for eternity, given a renewed heart and mind with new and good desires.

I do belive in the idea of God. I just donøt belive, I as a human can say, what God is like.
That would be very arrogant of me.
I don't see why religion and science can't co-exist. Science tells us HOW things work but religions tell us WHY. I see nothing wrong with the belief something created the Universe and gave it laws and protocols.
It's beyond human comprehension.
Good summer to you and thanks for your thoughts

It's good that you believe in the idea of God...
But if you say this, then why say you do not believe?
I know it may hard to break through the walls of doubt, but I hope you will decide to do that with
all the strength you can gather.
It's not arrogant to know what God is like.
God wants you to know Him He wants you to know he loves you and wants you to live for eternity.
Throughout scripture is he telling you who he is, it is there for our benefit.
We can know that his word has been proven true throughout events in world history, continuing today...
So we can know his promises of eternal life are true too.
And when you know him, you will see him working to change your heart and mind...You will see him working in your life and building your knowledge and faith.
Without knowing Him, we know a broken world instead and are changed and jaded by the world, instead of a holy, good and perfect Creator.
He will give you clarity and understanding, if you take the step to put your trust in Him, and not
in yourself and your own ideas.
Sometimes it is because we are still holding onto sinful choices that we will not seek God, but remain indifferent. I am not judging you, because we are all
guilty. Even for those who know God, we all have a different level of how close our heart is to Him.
But I encourage you to not hold onto temporary things... but to think.. what are these little things worth compared to the joy of life itself?
What are these things compared to enjoying the beauty of creation, without pain and suffering or death ever again?
If you believe in the idea of God, I hope you will believe that God would
reach out to us in this way.
Try not to determine how God would work, because then that is creating your own "god"...
But instead begin to believe that this is really how God, Jesus, would work.
Science is not separate from God, I agree. It is just the discovery of what He created, his laws, his designs.
A follower of God can appreciate it this way.
But science according to the world, they say it is separate from God. This is the issue.
Credit for creation is given to scientific processes by themselves, from no source other than their own existence, by random chance.
These people are blind right now, and I pray for that to change. But, they lead many people astray with ideas that
reject biblical truths.
So it is good you are not against the idea of God.
But I tell you this for certain that we need to accept Jesus/God into our life, not just live separately.
Our time now is temporary, and we should not take it for granted.
Many people are dying in increasing disasters... God is trying to wake people up from their indifference,
to be faced with life and death itself and to see the truth instead of distractions.
I hope to meet you one day!

Hey Again Thanks for your message and kind words. Here are some of my thoughts of God:
I don’t know that I believe in the existence of God in the religius sens. But my favorite book is the
Life of Pi By Yann Martel. And at the end of the Life of Pi, Yann pierces the skin of the universe and comes face-to-face with the love that moves the sun and the other stars in his story of the boy and the tiger.
I believe that there is a love that moves the sun and the other stars. I believe in Yann Martel’s vision.
And so, in some sense, perhaps I could be said to believe in God.
And I think part of the problem with the concept of, “Are you an atheist or not?” is that our conception of what divinity means has become so trivialized and banal that I think it’s almost impossible to answer the question without dogma.
And … I’m very, very saddened by the fact that militant atheism has become so to the fore of our society — I think it’s destructive, hatefull and unhelpful, and I don’t think it does science any service.
I trully belives that arrogant people like Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Bill Maher and Christopher Hitchens They have destroyed so much of their worth with their arrogant, unnecessary hatred for religion.
And their view that humans and evolving creatures do not have a soul or that life has no meaning is both evil, destructive and develop a great indifference to the feelings of others.
Such as ("Logic and reason aren't enough: You also have to be a dick to everyone who doesn't think like you." )
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One way I think we can understand the God question in relation to science is this: that prior to the coming into being of modern science, [in] the Christian conception of God, God had two functions — God was the creator of the universe, but he was first and foremost the redeemer of mankind.
And with the coming into being of modern science, God’s position as redeemer got shoved into the background, and all of the questions and the public discussion became about God the creator.
And that was why Darwinism was so critical — because [Darwin] appeared to challenge the idea of God as the creator of man.
And we, I think, [in] the modern West focus so much on the debate about the creative function of God that, outside of theological circles, we don’t seem to be able to discuss, as it were, the concept of redemption…
And I think we need to be able to discuss that… We need to start thinking about that.
Hope to hear from you

Oh my dearest friend, what you wrote to me set my heart aflame!!! You are so very true in all that you have said; how blessed are you because of Him, He who loves us always!!!
I am so happy to see another part of His Bride so infatuated with Him!!! You and souls just like you fill my heart with unexplainable joy; as much joy as feeling His embrace, or watching a sunrise or sunset!
You are so correct, dearly beloved; Jesus is always with us, even if our attire isn't presentable to Him, He will still accept us!
I am very glad that those stories that God has written has helped you tremendously; all of them turn out somehow emotional (I think that it is a mixture of my emotions and His words), and I really like it like that! Many of us see Jesus as a High Deity just ready to throw bolts of lightning or a ton of hail down on our heads whenever we do something wrong, but I'm sure that He wants it to turn out emotional because He wants us to know that He knows how we feel about every situation that we face, and we must always remember, just as you said, that He is with us whenever we face those situations.
I'm just so very humbled and pleased that His stories have helped you on Your Journey with Jesus.
You have inspired me in ways that you may not even understand; not even I understand! But I must thank you for allowing Jesus, your Beloved, to reside inside of you!!!
Jesus and I love you lots, my dearest friend!!!
