Has Anybody had the idea of Abominable Intelligence/Silicia Animus Using a Dreadnought body as a way to get around?

Gives me ideas for conversions...

I always dream about making up a chapter or about the 2 missing primarchs and their legions and i always liked the idea of having a dreadnought with 2 close combat weapons but also 1 or 2 ranged weapons shoulder mounted or something. a techmarine dread's servo-arm sound like awesome fix for that. imagine a dreadnought with 2 power claws underslung heavy flamer and melta or storm bolter and then a plasma cannon and or autocannon on top of that? it would be unstoppable. btw all thats left for you to draw is a librarian dreadnought which actually do exist. Grey Knights and Blood Angels have them.

Superbum [2012-02-08 01:55:22 +0000 UTC]
I was going to say I think it might be an interesting concept to try a Librarian version of one of these where he dreadnaughts "head" is composed of a bundle of very exotic looking antennae.

This is smart, neat to see how you viewed the dreadnaught as a mechanized marine and then asked the question what would happen to the tech priest?

[S] - 6(10)
[I] - 4

Weapons: TjΓ³rvi's left arm is equipped with a Dreadnought close combat weapon that has a built-in palm heavy flamer. The Dreadnought's right arm is equipped with another Dreadnought close combat weapon that has a built-in palm storm bolter. He has two Dreadnought servo-arms and a plasma cutting tool (counts as a plasma gun). As with having two Dreadnought Close Combat Weapons, this gives TjΓ³rvi an extra attack (already included in profile).
Honored Techmarine: Councilor-Techmarine TjΓ³rvi, like many other marines before him, was interred in the holy sarcophagus of a Dreadnaught when he became fatally wounded. Such marines use their newfound body to enhance their technical prowess beyond mortal limits. The addition of the massive servo-arms to his newfound body gave him several new advantages. Councilor-Techmarine TjΓ³rvi's dreadnought has a plasma cutting tool (counts as a plasma gun), a built in heavy stubber built into his right and a heavy flamer into his left dreadnought close combat hands, as well as having two servo arms granting two additional strength 8 powerfist attacks, and a +2 to all repair rolls, such that repairs are successful on a 4+. Because Councilor-Techmarine TjΓ³rvi has two Dreadnought Close Combat Arms, that grants him +1 attack in close combat (already added in the above profile).
Self Repair: Venerable Councilor-Techmarine TjΓ³rvi may attempt to repair himself on a D6 roll of 4+, but he may not move, shoot, assault, or perform any other tasks that turn, as he spends the turn concentrating on repairing his damaged hull. He may not repair any heavy weapon which has been destroyed.
Master of the Machines: Should Councilor-Techmarine TjΓ³rvi be chosen, Dreadnoughts, Venerable Dreadnoughts and Ironclad Dreadnoughts may be taken as Heavy Support choices as well as Elite choices, meaning up to a maximum of six Dreadnought variants may be placed on the army selection.

Truly an awsome prospect!
I love the way things are done in the year 40K! I would be a magus if I lived there and I guareteed you would either be an Inquisitor or a guy in the Administratum!
Back to topic.
I love th drawing.
The clean drawing combined with those massive servo arms really make for a stunning idea.
I'm just imagining this model actually being possible to build and use, all because of those wonderful VDR rules.
Awsome drawing mate.

A Techmarine Dreadnought is genuis! Why didn't I think of that? Anyway, great overal design, but the search lights on the top as well as the scope visor on the sarcophagus give it a the illusion of a face
