I made this especially for a rewrite of a song I wrote for my two best friends, Dan and Kiki (it was for a video so they could do karaoke with the song ;3 all 'cause I wanted to make a reference to one of Kiki's videos on YouTube). While it isn't exactly talking about my friendship with them, it talks about their relationship as a couple. (Fan girl x3)I tried out something new for me on this line art project. Cell-shading/soft cell-shading, the type of shading technique they use in animes. I wanted to try this out because I wanted to shade my colored line art projects more quickly but at the same time make it look good and not so terrible. And then FullMetal Alchemist came in, so now I've got a MAJOR time saving technique. :3

Though Kiki might kill me for doin' this, I'm gonna post the lyrics to the song here. It's a rewrite of "Hanging by a Moment" by Lifehouse. It's my own mixed version, which isn't exactly closer to the song (as in the lyrics change more often than the song does, if you get what I'm saying. Look up the original song and compare the two. Maybe then you'll get what I'm saying).
I DID make a version that is more based on the song, (titled it "Flying in the Blue Skies") but I liked this version ("Blue Skies") better 'cause I thought it was more fitting plus the fact that it added to it's originality. I have to say though, I changed the lyrics to this song SO MANY FREAKING TIMES. If you had to make songs for ALL the possible combination's of the song's lyrics, you'd probably come up with about... mmm... 50 different versions. >_>

Well, my friend Kiki's a girl and uses Sheik as her brawlsona (brawl persona). Her texture hack looks similar to how I colored it in the lineart. I dunno if that counts as making Sheik a girl, because on one hand the Sheik in this is a girl since its Kiki's brawlsona, but on the other hand, Sheik's a guy, but just being used for the brawlsona of a girl.
Btw, the Link looks similar to Dan's texture hack in brawl. If you want to see their textures, look at this video: [link]
One thing that's different is that Kiki's hair isn't black with silver stripes. I fixed it when she asked me to remake her texture with black hair and silver stripes.
So, in short, Link and Sheik are colored to look like Dan and Kiki's textures in brawl, therefore Link and Sheik are being depicted as them.

So... the personas themselves are recolours, huh? ^_^; That's rather unusual, buit I guess it's not a problem. You might want to make a point of the nature of original piece, Just to clear that up.

I do likes the way the shading came out for this one. Very nice looking. I kinda wish there was a line art where you could make my armor though. I guess I shouldn't expect much though considering how detailed my brawlsona texture is. Either way it looks good
