Description Lonely Lumpfish swam through kelp looking for fresh meal. Few tailpoles went somewhere, and didn't come back. But for dumb Lumpfish they had no particular meaning. They were just another element of nature, sometimes there, sometimes somewhere else. For a few seconds Lumpfish noticed shadow swimming above. Dark shadow quickly fell on the lonely Lumpfish and killed it with one bite of his needle teeth. Kelp Pikedog - the deadly shadow of equatorial kelp forests, is a fast and deadly predator, growing up to 6 meters of length. Pikedogs are members of postmammal family - animals descending from mammals, but changed so much by evolution that they have little or almost no mammal features. Pikedogs give birth to alive young, much like ancient whales or pinnipeds, but their internal physiology is much different. Also their shape resemble extinct sea reptiles - plesiosaurs, that's why pikedog group is called "Plesioceta".

Second lad from my small spec evo project. This man is a descendant of small marsupials that were only vertebrates transported into alien world, where they evolved. Their evolutionary story is highly complicated and filled with extinctions.
