~As much as he wanted to continue taunting Ness and his friends, his fear of the inexplicable evil that he released had once again got the best of him. He could no longer hold back his cowardice and broke down into tears once he retreated back into the darkness. He truly was experiencing absolute terror, but he could never allow his rival to see that. Everyone knows that cool guys NEVER cry.~

I was actually in a state of fear and sadness myself when I started this picture (Please don't ask why I was feeling that way at the time. I don't wanna talk about it). Part of me thought I could capture the emotion more effectively if I was feeling it myself. Also, I debated heavily over whether to include Robot Ness or not. I decided on the former because I felt it wasn't conveying the message I wanted without some hint of Ness being there.

Despite that I categorized this as traditional art, it's actually more like mixed media because while both Pokey and Robot Ness' reflection were drawn by hand via mechanical pencil, I messed with the latter in Photoshop a bit to make it look more like a reflection.

Finally, HE'S NOT PUNCHING HIMSELF! Though all those comments on the WIP were pretty funny. XD
