Description My newest idea. I had this watch face for months now, I had planned to make a beaded wristband for it, but never got around to doing it. So, the other day I went through the yarn stash that my mom sent me for my birthday and found this awesome yarn.
It took a while to get the wristband right, so I used up about half of the yarn ball for it. So yeah, now I have two wristbands that I had to cut apart, one that I turned into a bracelet and finally a gorgeous watch.


Materials used:
60% cotton & 40% polyamide yarn, watch face, butterfly charms, shell button

Clever! A softer alternative to a beaded band.
Also, it's a great idea for people who break out from the metal of the watch.
And this is way prettier than your average store-bought watch!

This is so beautiful! I saw it and immediately fell in love with the idea. It looks comfortable and very classy. I love the soft and earthy colors. And the charms and shell button are a fantastic touch!

I worked this without a pattern, which is why I had to start over four times before getting it right. It's really just a flat band with a simple edging and a button hole.

I really like the feeling of this. the shell button really makes it. I almost wonder what a few more shells on it would look like, kind of a summery theme. Great job and wonderful idea!

I only had that one button in that shape. And I was thinking that if I add too much to it, it would get stuck on clothes and so on... but I may try putting beads on the yarn while crocheting.
