Description Ohhh so lovely! It was so much fun to work on this piece! I love the softness of it
This drawing was made for the Designers contest hosted by 1angel0wings1 This contest is about Steve Thompson, and his incredible dress designs for Disney Princesses!
I chose Mulan because I have never drawn her before! Not even a sketch... Dishonor on my cow, I know.Β 
Instead of wearing a stola, I wrapped Mushu around her like he is part of the outfit. XD It's like he is protecting Mulan and c'mon, doesn't Mulan look totally bad-ass with a dragon wrapped around her? I think she is awsum! Β

Thank you very much for the compliment! I didn't design the dress though. It was designed by Steve Thompson. He does this for a living and his dresses look absolutely beautiful!Β

It's so cool! The way you drew Mushu is almost exactly the way he's originally designed in the movie. Her dress is lovely and the tree in the background looks good too. though, I guess you could've added more color to the background.

I updated the drawing. Now the background has a touch of blue sky. It's very subtle but I really like it this way
