Description The next entry in sarymarie's  Disney contest. For the first part, I've drawn Ariel enjoying the hanami season (blooming of the cherry trees in Japan) wearing a modern style kimono, based partially on this furisode but tweaking some details: Types of kimonos

For the background, I've played around with some digital watercolors and calligraphy-like features.
