Description There's always someone, no matter when, that steadfastly remains dressed for a light autumnal day's market shopping when visiting the beach.
They'll stand at the ankle high break and look pensively out to sea as though a bargain is going to come sailing in at any moment.

My grandmother, Dorothy Beard had this lighthouse instinct.

Wow, beautiful! Love the details in the reflections on the water, and those mountains in the distance Great work!

This is just so bloody refreshing and unique. The colors blend wonderfully and though you can't really see detail to the face, the subject is facinating none the less.

As always, your preservation of the photo's colors and tones is gorgeous, and your interpretation of the people into characters makes me bust out with the extra-bigass grin.

Merci!
I've gotten a bit more painterly recently with this series, but I'm glad to know that the cartoonish aspect still shows through!
Thanks!

The things you're allowed to get away with in amateur photography breaks every rule in painting compositions!

Tilted horizon? Sure!!
