Texas. In the summer of '98 I moved there for work (as an editor at Steve Jackson Games). I quit the job in fairly short order, but we loved the city, so we lived there for about nine years.

Art House is were all the RPG's I like seem to go to die (Trinity before it got picked up by Onyx Path for example) and BESM 3rd

Nobody sent BESM to AHG to die, though. AHG did what amounted to a courtesy release of BESM3 after it had already died. They didn't kill it; it was dead when they purchased it.
