I'm not usually one for textspeak, but... OMFG.
Now, I measure how long something took me by what I listened to while I was working on it. Let me go over what I listened to while working on this...
-- 3 episodes of Glee, 45 minutes each = 2.25 hours.
-- 3 episodes of Smart Mouths podcast , 1.25 hours each = 3.75 hours.
-- 2 episodes of Mugglecast, 1.25 hours each = 2.5 hours.
-- Five episodes of All Things Phantom, 1 hour each = 5 hours.
-- A Very Potter Musical in its entirety = 2 hours.
-- 10 (or so) episodes of Seth Rudetsky's Playbill podcast, 15 minutes each = 2.5 hours.

18 hours.
HOLY CRAP. That's three quarters of an entire day.

ANYWAY. This has been one of my favorite Phantom pictures since first finding it forever ago, and I've been putting off drawing it for far too long. I also adore Christine's Masquerade costume (the Star Princess), so I finally decided it was time and tackled the picture.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with it, Christine especially. All that practice drawing her has finally paid off! There's something off about Raoul's face, and the cape behind him (not his) isn't shaded to well, but I got lazy. I may or may not go back and fix it; it doesn't bother me too much.

Also, I took some serious artistic liberty with the costumes behind them. Simplified, mostly, but I like the effect because it makes the couple pop out more.

Also, DAMN YOU dA for not letting me put and exclamation point in the title!
