This is what happens when you listen to the Don Bluth Thumbelina soundtrack while trying to think of something for a couple to do. In his movie, of course the boy can fly, making carrying his girlfriend easy. Unfortunately Emil can't fly. In fact he's afraid of heights and he gets air sick on planes. But Kiddo managed to convince him to come up in the air with her. She just didn't realize just how heavy he'd be
Emil puts a whole new meaning to 'down to Earth'. He loves being on the ground - so much so that he rarely wears shoes so he can feel it beneath him. Kind of ironic that his girlfriend defies gravity.
More practice with lighting and just a little perspective if you look close.

Again, you know most of the consistent stuff. I'd repeat myself if I pointed out things wrong with this that I've pointed out in other drawings.
Biggest thing here? When dealing with support/lifting you need to give a lot more thought to weight and whether something can support weight. I realize they're off balance but, unless she dropped him, there is no way he's not going to fall here. T-shirt cloth can't hold his weight, neither can her shoulders the way he's holding onto them.
Logic stuff like that will help you in comic books.

Well, yeah that was the point - she is about to drop him. Don't know if you read it or if you just forgot but I mentioned a while back that Kiddo has a fear that her powers will cut out on her, and yes sometimes they do. This pic was supposed to be one of those times where her powers were working but then suddenly don't. So, yes I know they wouldn't be able to actually keep hold of each other like this - he's falling no matter what, this is just before it happens (but after her powers cut out)
