If you are from the fandom - you will understand. If you are from fandom AND from tumblr - we should totally follow each other!

The hedgehog thing? Well, I guess that Martin Freeman is pictured as a hedgehog because of his famous rage thing - when you look at him when he is calm, he seems to be 'made of kittens', adorable, fluffy and so, but when he gets mad, he shows his spikes, so don't try to touch him!
Still, this is only me guess... Sounds good as for me c:

The purple i get, the stripes I get, the cane and crop i get, the jam i get, but the shark and hedgehog stump me. What is their purpose?

Okay, I don't actually know where the hedgehog came from, but I believe that it started from blackradar's (tumblr) tags, added under gif, showing rage face of Martin Freeman, and the tag were: #NEVER LOOK HIM STRAIGHT IN THE EYES #HE CAN SENSE FEAR. LIKE A HEDGEHOG SNUFFLING FOR JAM.
As for the shark... Well, because of how visible the cheekbones of Cumberlord actually are, he is... kind of... similar to the hammerhead. This could explain more: [link]

You are correct on the tumblr part. I knew it existed before this fandom but I never got into it until I got into Sherlock. But thank you for explaining! I have been trying to understand the shark and hedgehog thing for a while now and it's great to finally know! And yes, everything is clear now! (And yes I do understand the jam thing.)
