Description This is my fav singer... Faye Wong. This is just in time to celebrate her comeback to the music industry after a long hiatus of 4 years devoted to her family and newborn baby... it's time to appease her fans with a bang... or so I hope! There has been words of her comeback for quite some time already but it had all been rumors so far. She's definitely putting her family first and I'm happy for her... but on the other hand... I miss her angelic voice.
This is her image from a shampoo endorsement (Head & Shoulders) several years back. Coincidentally, her purported comeback is also a shampoo advertisement...

Thanks Michelle. Always motivating to read your comment. I'm feeling very tired... kinda like having writer's block, though this is drawing. I'm in a dilemma whether I should use Photoshop to enhance or edit my scans. I see very good drawings and are told that most of them had been enhanced by using computer tools. Whenever I see my work lined side by side with others, I always felt that mine looked rather raw or naked. I want my work to look professional... but on the other hand, I'd feel like a fraud because I know that the original will not be nearly as good as the enhanced version. What if people come to me for commissions after seeing my so-called enhanced drawings and get disappointed at the end? I'd be damned to be called a fake. Hmm, even if I get pass my conscience, I still have to learn how to use Photoshop. Well, maybe it'll help spice up my mundane routines.

funny that i have had a same thought.. but i'm not a computer person... i don't really know how to do the good use of photoshop.. i take the photo of my work, they look too dark.. so i do use photoshop just to make it look like the original adjusting the contrast and the brightness.. but i don't want to make it fake that the original won't be the same as the one we see online...actually i like my original works better than the ones in DA profile.. in real life they have more depth in tones and artistic values...that's why i don't go for the online art contest as i told you before. I'd rather want to compete with the originals at any local art shows..last year i've won the first with my geisha drawing... they were all professional artist except me ..so i thought it wasn't about being professional or armature but about ur passion and love toward ur work... i thinks there's nothing wrong with ur works enhanced somehow as long as you know what's true..wow i've never written this long before .. lol.. these days i'm having a long break but soon i'll grab my pencils again..but i love Mario brothers too much lol...see you and good luck!
