A bit of dark promo art for my comic, Chickamangu. This deals with some themes that will be popping in MUCH later on in the story, but which nontheless have some groundwork laid for. Ponder now the song of Ixathoa:

Flow my tears for loss and grief
Flow for the city that lays beneath
Flow for lost Ixotha

Beneath the light of the goddess' eye
In the wind of her petaled sigh
Once there bloomed Ixotha

City of Ganusa's love
Hidden from mankind above
Mythic jewel called Ixotha

But they forsook their heritage
To commit great sacrilege
All woes unto Ixotha!

And so the years have flow since
There lays the crown of a dead prince
Lost in dead Ixotha
