I don't get why people think Shining Armor is a "deadbeat selfish dad" if he doesn't want to interact with the product of rape; at best, it was Rape By Fraud. And it could've been straight up rape, what with Shining Armor having been brainwashed. That's pretty heartless in itself.

If someone does do a story, there's only thing I must suggest, nay pray that you do: try and make Shining Armor actually likable in the story. In this concept, I can't stand him being portrayed always as a stereotypical selfish cowardly deadbeat who prefers to avoid and coverup the problem as opposed to doing the honorable thing like he actually would and thus, whilst certainly in with innerconflict, try to actually help or even better, be a father the child he helped make.
My big issue with the first interpretation isn't just because I'm sick to death of the selfish deadbeat dad stereotype authors put him in, but also because of how much it drags and slows down the story. I'd much prefer Shining Armor actually being like "Okay, the child's here , she is my daughter, I have to acknowledge both those facts... so what am I gonna do with her now?" instead of wishing she'd just disappear so he's happy home fantasy would remain in tact.
In fact, no, I got a better idea, How about instead of her seeking HIM out, HE seeks HER out, that HE wants to be part of HER life? Because believe it or not, a lot of fathers actually DO want to be involved in their child's life, legitimate or not.

Okay, but like I said, please as least try to make him Kikable. Surely you are amongst others in being tired of him being stereotyped as a selfish deadbeat dad.
Also, I've just noticed something you said in the other picture. Chrysalis has told her that SA is her father with this fabricated story. In that case, we don't know if he really IS her father.
