another rendering of my last cupid picture. this time she is right in the midst of action!for the work-in-progress and some photoshop tips for the coloring of this picture, please go over to the walkthrough .

Very interesting, her face is probably a masterpiece. Well made, full of emotions, almost real.
You know, i would like to see other poses of her.
The only problem of this picture is the left arm. If you look closely, it seems too short.

I like your view of cupid here. The color pick, the armor style, and her wings reminds me to ancient Romans till I realized that Cupid is the one of Roman myth.
But since Cupid is the god of desire, I think you should add more desire in her expression. Both body language nor her face. Maybe more flushed lip, more glint in her eye, or sharper perspective will help. And the arms armor need more rendered
And since people always relating Cupid to love stuff, you may consider to add more pink, maybe change the fire color to pink. But it relative to viewer's viewpoint because for me, a heart shaped armor is enough to recognized her.
However you've done a great job here. I simply love how you take care with color and detail, including each feather on the wings.

I wouldn't be able to do such a thing myself, but do note that the arrow "officially" needs to be on the other side of the bow. Don't mean to be a nuisance, it's just a tip

No problem. When I see it I find it handy to tell someone so they can adjust it or use the tip for another image. One indeed needs to know a bit of archery to see this I suppose.

my problem is drawing the same character more than once. they usually got unrecognizable (doesn't look like same character) or all the characters look the same.
i have tried very hard for this one to get at least the resemblance with the last cupid.
