Breathtaking. I love the contrast of his stark white and how you really did hide the wing even out of his attitude.
Something to watch: His forearm looks a little big and you can still see a distinct line on the top of his hand where he's gripping his other arm. In life, it may be the case that there is a shadow there, but when you're doing something this realistic you have to obey more the laws of light then realistic and add a highlight there instead of the shadow/line. The top of his hand should be a similar shade to his other arm at the point where you have your outline.
Also watch this on his elbow. Shading in the shadow, or covering it with a highlight will really draw those places to completion. There should also be a little lighter shadow on his shoulder like how you have it on his forearm closest to the foreground.
For help from your own work, check out the hand on his head, that's got the highlights it needs to really show what needs to be done in the aforementioned places.

thank you for your detailed comment. i had used a reference photo for the lighting of this painting. i guess it is the studio lighting that made the values somehow unreal. but what you pointed out is quite true. you have very sharp eyes.
