As for the glow, I added a new layer above the colour layer and beneath the lineart layer.
I then drew a big patch of the greeny-yellow with a large airbrush around the spots that glow then tweaked the opacity of the layer so it wasn't so overwhelming. (I use photoshop, btw). c: Large soft brushes are the best to use; don't use the hard brushes.
That's just my method, but there are plenty of others. Try searching "how to make things glow in photoshop" or "glow tutorial" and you get some pretty good tuts. c:

oh! well ur lucky u have photoshop! XD but that's awesome the way you do it! an di kinda figured about the soft brush ideal sine i watch a lot of livestream and art videos : D

Paint.Net should have a similar function I believe? Not sure, i've only ever used Photoshop and MS Paint. xD Sai would have it, if you're willing to pay a small amount (pretty much the same as photoshop, but much less expensive.)
And of course you could try looking up tutorials for glow effects in Paint.Net. xP

Haha, I am! Just bought some new (and really cheap! ;D) manga from a bookstore that had old stock.
And I borrowed the Deltora Quest books from a friend (after getting interested in the anime for some odd reason. xD).
I remember trying to read the books at primary/elementary/whatever school but people always managed to borrow them before me. :c

Oh, I've watched Deltora Quest. It's actually pretty decent anime. Reminds me of some of the shows I watched when I was a youth. :'3

Uhh, from what I can remember, a few volumes of "Zero: The Beginning of the Coffin", "Eternal Sabbath" and "Guru Guru Pon-Chan" (xD). There were some other ones, but I can't be bothered going to look at them. xD I pretty much just bought all the old stock manga they had since each book was only $2. x'D
Haha, I love it. I don't even know why. I like Lief's character for yet another unknown reason. xD The English voice actors are pretty terrible, though. I'm hoping they improve over the episodes. xP And the CGI monsters still irk me a little. But not too much.

I've never read those manga before. :'D But that's great you're getting them for such a deal. c: I bought the entire Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series and it cost me $70 x_x
It's fairly enjoyable and I do agree the voices are as good as a PS1 game's. x'D but it just has a classical element of preteen anime. c:

Agreed. The reason I probably like it is because it reminds me of the old anime like Dragonball, One Piece and Sailor Moon I used to watch before I went to school. I used to get up early to watch them. xD It was only last year that I got up and watched a show called "Dinosaur King", which is the pinnacle or terrible. Nothing can be worse than that show. The opening was catchy, though. xD

Digimon was awesome. I actually preffered watching Digimon over Pokemon (Pokemon games were better, though). My fave was season 2, with Flamedramon. xP

Monster rancher was a good show. But then again, I haven't watched it since I was a kid x'D
I think my fav season was one but I hace to say that 2 was incredible as well.
