Finally made a Pokesona for myself. It took a while to decide which Pokemon I would be between Mienshao and Flygon, but in the end I decided on a shiny Flygon. The first shiny I ever caught was a Trapinch in my copy of Ruby back when I didn't even know what a shiny was- not to mention I had no idea Trapinch evolved into Flygon, so as a kid I was freaking the hell out because it was so awesome. Flygon quickly became my favourite Pokemon and eventually shared the top spot with Mienshao. c:Edit: Added "dopey, dorky little Jack the Taillow" for *Laughing-Jack . xD
The Jolteon is a Pokesona I designed for ~MrRowboat . You don't have to keep the design but I wanted to try designing one anyway, haha.
I call them... Joltix, Kaygon and... Jackow? Taillack?

Well... I haven't played anything much after gen 3, so you might laugh at me or something
But I did like playing the ones I have had a go at, and there's something about a blue, fat, little, big-mouthed Taillow that makes me happy, haha :'D

I loved the first two generations when I was little, but as I was playing through gen three I... well, it's not like I lost interest, but I discovered things that interested me more? So Pokemon sadly fell by the wayside :'D

Gen 3 was the best gen, so you're not missing out on much! Also the having to invest in all the games is making me so poor

Gosh, yes exactly. Water is just... At least on the other routes there were landmarks and stuff so you could tell where you were and they were pretty straitforward, but trying to find your way through all of that water is just... frustrating... :I

Just seeing this pic gives me all sorts of inspirations to draw more things with them. c: And I agree with your choice of Flygon; an amazing pokemon, especially with it's shiny form. Mienshao would have been cool too and I really like Mienshao myself but I think that Flygon is a much better choice for you. >u>

Makes sense! Flygon is more practical though~ Being able to fly and maneuver through sandstorms is very useful. Joltix can be a lightning rod :I

He probably should be bug/dragon but Flygon is Ground/Dragon which is more useful. c: Still looks buggish though xD

xD Well Jolteon for me is an all-out attacker. Thunder, Volt Switch, Hidden Power (Ice) and Signal Beam. c: While wearing snazzy specs. I do have other pokemon on my team like Jellicent that's there to be a wall and do stuff like Taunt and Will O Wisp.

I used to hate Jellicent but using him in battle, he's pretty awesome. xD Having him with the moustache is magnificent~

It just looks to weird for me, haha. I liked Frillish, they were cute, but Jellicent is just too weird. xD
And people say they're losing their touch when creating Pokemon. Heck, their ideas are a lot better since the second gen, in my opinion!
Even if I don't find a pose I like for Kaygon, I still might finish Joltix just for the hell of it. xD

I think the newer games have been doing pretty well with creating new pokemon. In retrospect, Gen 1 had a lot of basic pokemon: A snake, a pigeon, a rat ... and so many more. GF has been stretching creativity quite a bit and I think X and Y it's been done favorably.

I'm gonna be honest- I didn't like the R/B up to G/S/C. It was pretty much my copy of Ruby that made me love Pokemon. And my favourite of all the games was probably Pearl. So Gen 3 up included Pokemon I liked, with the previous exceptions of Arcanine, Typhlosion and very few others.
The rounded hind legs are hard to draw in different poses. And I never understood why it only had claws on it's hands and that's it. xD

Flygon's difficult even for me. Even though I like drawing dragons the most, and spend most of my time doing so, they still prove to be the most annoying things to draw ever. And even though their wings are simple, they're incredibly hard to draw. Dl

No, I know how you mean. I have an inner conflict though that I want to draw but I don't want to invest my time doing something when I can do something else. I'm such a stickler for time nowadays that I want to get the most out of what I do. I wake up super early in the morning and stay up really late at night all so I can have time to do what I want but it's never enough. I'm usually left feeling unsatisfied. :\

You pretty much just described how I go about my days...
That uneasy feeling of not having achieved something, or not having "completed" something worth while. And at the end of the day you look back and think, "what did I do?"... and even though you could have done a million things, none stick out and make you feel you've done your best, or pleased someone, even yourself.
Hm. Oh, and I recently managed to get Skype on my comp, so if you have it we could communicate easier, haha.

Oh Gosh, exactly ... and most of the time I'm so busy thinking "What can I do today? If I do this, then it'll take this long or if I do this, then I have to do that and I'll only have this much time left". Yes, it's quite terrible. I'm just ashamed that parents act like this and much less, it affects their kids because their kids think that if their parents can act like that; so can they. It's an endless spiral on bad parenting.
