Where: Dierenpark De Oliemeulen Tilburg, The Netherlands
Photographing a White-Headed Vulture (with a full black body) in the early Summer, harsh sun isn't easy. Pipo seemed to enjoy it though - the sun, and being photographed - and that's what matters most. She's such a beauty!
Species: White-Headed Vulture (Witkopgier)
Latin name: Trigonoceps Occipitalis
Originates from Africa.
Current status: Critically Endangered
