These two Kirk's Dik-Diks have been at the zoo since the Summer, and share their enclosure with two Vulturine Guneafowl and two Marabou Storks.
There's just something about these small antelopes that makes them such precious animals. Probably the snout
Species: Kirk’s Dik-Dik (Kirks Dikdik)
Latin name: Madoqua Kirkii
Originates from eastern and southwestern Africa.
Current status: Least Concern
Did you know:
… The Kirk’s Dik-dik hooves have rubbery undersides, so they can effectively travel over rocky terrain.
… Behavioral studies suggests these small ungulates are monogamous.

I'm more of a bird and reptiles person but, I've always had a heart for ungulates (and any other mammal for that matter, or any animal in general).

Well. Paleosaur isn't a real dinosaur, the names is a play on "Paleontology" and "Dinosaur", it's also my online pseudonym.
