I am majorly, and utterly confused now.The total in Motsy's thought bubble is the amount of page views a girl had who, I kid you not, drew nothing but stick figures or 'art' that could have passed for stick figures with clothing. And she was on for about 3 years I think.
Me? I've been here almost 6 years, and have only 2900 views, close to 3,000. Yet my friends have been here 2 years, maybe more and they have more watchers, and more views.
Y! Gallery, I have more watchers and almost 11k page views. I'm still a few hundred off, but I'm close to it. The kicker? I'll be there 2 years in October, early November.
Makes me wonder sometimes. If I'm so well liked over there, why don't people like me here? Hell, I only have 10 fans on TLKFAA.
I'm trying everything here. Mpreg, nagas... even the ever popular 411. So what if I have no tablet. I see mouse artists everywhere that have more views than me and I say it's no fair. I'm almost 30 and I've been drawing with a mouse since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Alright, since I was 16. But still... [/end rant]

Ah, popularity is a very fickle, strange thing. The famous comic artist *HinoNeko said that the best thing to do is to try and advertise and broadcast yourself as much as possible. -But even that doesn't always work. Don't think of it personally; there are many great artists who go completely unrecognized by the public. Remember-fans go for cheap "kawaii" things that happen to be on the frontpage for some reason. It's not an artistic comment, good or bad, so don't worry too much. You're a good artist, and that's all you need to know!

The jaw structure thing I tried my best on. I've been drawing Motsumi forever since she's my fursona, or well furry persona. I've had her for almost 10 years now.
I wonder myself how these so-called "kawaii" things get to the front page. Some are quite literally stick figures. But your stuff is great too. I love your nagas, especially your expectant one. He's adorable.
