Description Professional work. It's Puck from the play/opera A Midsummer Night's Dream.

I debated about putting this in Digital since it was colored in Photoshop, but it originated as a pencil sketch (which can be found in my Scraps) so I opted for Traditional Art. This marks my first foray into digitally coloring my sketches. Sans tablet, no less.

Great mixture of traditional and digital work It reminds me of a quote from god
"If you do something right, people won't know you did anything at all" ... ok well. god off futurama.. but still I feel it's a good quote and fits this picture because it has a very traditional art feel to it even though it was colored digitaly.
I really like the textures on the background... espically the trees

Wow, I thought it was pastels. You got some great texture going on with that colouring, as well as great contrast and colour.

Thanks! The texture is from the original pencils. I used a lot of the paintbrush on 20% opacity for layers.
