the Phythagorean Illuminati illuminates, Jesus asks u for faith, while the only way you can truly improve yourself is via your intellect. Praying wasn't how your computer was invented. Praying wasn't how we went to the moon. Praying wasn't how Antibiotics was invented. THINKING not FAITH was the cause of all the great things we've done.

The ones in the darkness are afraid of the Light. Only those illuminated can see it.
Great job!
Keep on!
Christians were never liked in history, and I don't really know why atheists think that harassing us and lying will change the fact that we'll never stop proclaiming the truth till Jesus comes back.

Ceaser and the colosseum couldn't stop us.
Stalin couln't stop us.
The isamic fundamentalists don't stop us in Africa or Middle East.
Nor the Chinese government nor the North Korean government are able to stop us.
So people really think that blabling insults in the internet will even lower our strengh?
Hahaha
May the light of Jesus release you guys from darkness!

Stylistically dynamic, with a classic and glamorous color scheme. Reminds me of movie posters in the 80's.

TL;DR version: Christianity is why we can't have nice things!

Uh, no. Jesus doesn't illuminate... if anything, he darkens and perverts and twists and corrupts. There is a reason that the time before secularism started to break the Christian stronghold on European society was called the Dark Ages! It's because Christians worked to silence any sort of advancement in any academic discipline that didn't toe it's own line. *Every* major scientific discipline has suffered because of Christian theocracies repressing discovery and experimentation.

Also, being a lesbian ex-Christian raised in conservative Texas - there was no darker time in my life than my adolescence denying my true nature because of the religious beliefs of Christians surrounding me. Ever since coming to my senses, LEAVING Christianity and accepting myself for who I truly am, my life has never been more illuminated!

Maybe the Fall of Rome was the contribution to the Dark Ages, but many can debate that.

And maybe its the life style of others that is controlling you and has darkened you senses. No free will there.

Actually, the persecution of Galileo and Magellan kinda bolster the fact that it was Christianity holding scientific understanding back. Consider the advances we have made in the last few hundred years and how better off we would be... If Christianity remained just a desert cult.

As to your second paragraph, what "lifestyle" and how exactly am I darkened? Since I don't believe in Jesus anymore and deal with reality as it actually is, my life is better, richer, fuller. Leaving Christianity has sharpened my senses, not darkened them.

It's your right to follow the way you want to follow, but it's not your right to "impose" your views and choices on anyone else. If it didn't work for you it doesn't mean it doesn't work for other people.
God loves sinner but hates sin. And I'm glad he took me out and freed me from the lesbianism club and helped me discover my true self and identity as a born again child of God. Knowing God and being touched by the power of the Holy Spirit and Christ's love has been the greatest and most transforming experience I've ever had. God is real. My walk with God has made me wiser, sharper, boosted my creativity and has ILLUMINATED my life in an amazing way! I'm saved, I'm free, I'm happy! So let ppl enjoy what they have, and you enjoy what you have...or think you have, without being toxic and negative because unfortunately you only scratched the surface.ย
It's also really cheap to hop on someone's eligible great art and make a claim for your personal views.....the light illuminates those who want to be illuminated. U want no light? Stay out of it and let people be. ย

Ignore comments like the ones above, my friend (in the words of Wikipedia: "citation needed)". It's just a biased assertive rant by a narrow minded, intolerant, and ill-perceptive, individual who is simply echoing buzzwards and unexamined assumptions like a wanting parrot more than a rational, objective person. Whenever someone states something without establishing it on the grounds of facts, unhostile and civil dialogue, ready to give outside sources, and are not willing to make some admissions against interest, then you are dealing with a preachy and emotive propagandists, not a rational person.

It's best to just to ignore them while on the internet (a place, due to it's anonimity, that has little to no sphere of ethos in argumentation), and live your thought life in an opposite fashion - as dictated by your own scriptures:

2 Timothy 2:15
1 Peter 3:15

All it takes is one pin-prick of truth to burst their bubbles as well. For example Doctor Jason Lisle, a brillant contemporary Astrophysist, is an ardent creationist and was a memember of the team of scientists who recently discovered the thermal convection cell currents on the sun ([link] ). And Georges-Henri Lemaรฎtre, the proposer of the big bang, was both a student of physics and was a catholic priest ([link] ).

As for the following comment the person has given. Well, this is Post ergo propter hoc argumentation at it's worse... talk about a leap in logic, this one could span the English Channel!

As a student of history, I find such assertions dangerously revisionist. Galleo's issues with the Jesuits in paticular wasn't a black and white perdicament (most issues never are, and never let a peddler of such a meta-narrative, no matter what that worldview might be, sucker you into thinking so). A good article from the opposite side can be found here: [link] And here: [link]

Propagating such misunderstanding will only increase discord between people groups, formulating a false dilemma of opposition. Anyone who would have tolerance and respect for his fellow man sacrificed in the name of propagating their own convenient half-truths and narrow biases is an intellectual tragedy waiting to happen. As for me, my thinking won't be bound by such disingenuous assertions from a raving religion-hater. I am as skeptical of these claims as I would be to a raving, wetbourghian fundamentalist or a cronie of the Ku Klux Klan.

Luckily the irrelgious community as a whole is not this obnoxious and hateful to relgious persons. For example U.N rep. Austin Dacey, and Bruce Sheiman, writer of "An Atheist Defends Religion: Why Humanity is Better Off With Religion than Without It", are both very forgiving and supportive of relgious individuals and their lifestyle, though choose not to belive themselves. They both, and others like them, would disagree with this person vehemently as much as Christian apologists like C.S Lewis or William Lance Craig.

As for feelings and experiances alone...well those are mutable, trickable, and inconstant. I will stick with using my mind as a guide and not primarily my passions (which truly is as Holy Scripture tells us, "is rottenous to the bones" when unchecked. For such insight, I thank Christ, my maker. Truly he does indeed illumnate while such opposition like that seen here (which sadly plagues and festers through out the internet) is always looking to "supress the truth in unrighteousness." That and detract our attention from such messages as the one above. Such subtle cheap shots are idealogical censorship at it's lowest form.

So this is a still life? More like a realization that life is ever moving, that we are constantly approaching our purpose, our eternal home. The Dashes of color, the light against the dark; they all speak truths about life. Keep up the good work.
