Dawn is... well, interesting to say the least. She loves talking in riddles, making others wonder and sneaking around doing weird stuff. It's her playful side that enjoys seeing others confused and she can thoroughly enjoy seeing other wolf work out what she just said or being curious what she's up to. As such, she sometimes acts secretive on purpose as well as being sometimes so caught up in one of her whims that she just acts quirky as is. she does not only do this for her own enjoyment though, but believes if she challenges others to think and wonder, it will prompt them to discover and become closer to the Great Goddess.

Dawn is dedicated to her rank to a T. The Great Goddess is her life, consulting her and bringing other wolves closer, her duty. She can often be found pondering on her, her pack and their earth's connections, testing stuff on a whim in hopes of learning more in terms of bond strengthening and appeasing. She is always up for a chat, question or insight of others as well when it comes to her deity. Because of her great faith she acts most humble, only counting herself as a part of a whole and thus insignificant on herself. This is not to say she does consider herself worthless. The Great Goddess has brought her into this world after all so she is ready to count her blessings and appreciate what's around her. If one where to give thanks to her though, she would be pleased but most likely refer to the fact that she only can do things due to the Great Goddess making her able to.

Being buzzy interpreting signs, consulting her instruments and doing what High priesteses do in general, Dawn holds little interest in competing with others, be it individual wolfs or other packs. The Great Goddess has made her perfect the way she is after all and so did it make others, so she sees no merit in trying to one-up someone else or showing off. The only time she does concern herself with such things is when a wolf has wandered of the path. Crime, hate, rejection of the great goddess is something she will not tolerate and she will show them the power of belief. If they fail to submit, to turn, Dawn will hold no mercy. The Great Goddess will deal with them. Under normal circumstances the she-wolf is caring, looking to nurture others on a spiritual level.

In the line of duty, Dawn can be very abrupt in halting her activities or interrupting someone in the middle of something they were doing with little to no considerations of the other wolf's feelings or timetable. She is also quick to correct or lecture someone on things she thinks she knows a lot about or is just in. If she's got something to say, she will do so and she will do so right in your face. Dawn does not beat around the bush and finds it annoying when others do. Figurative speech or riddles however, she can appreciate. Though humble in nature, attributing her knowledge, skills and accomplishments to the Great Spirit, she does consider herself knowledgeable and can be quite direct about it. As is she has the tendency to consider others in general to be on a lesser level when it comes to spiritual connection and thus sees them as young in soul who still have to learn. This shows in her fondness for the word "child" which she uses on wolves who have long passed the age to be called this. For those she really cannot do this the term "sister" is often a well-used alternative.

She has much faith in her and even talks to her aloud or mentally, the latter more so when nobody is probably looking. She of course doesn't receive direct response, but nonetheless holds running conversations at times, acting like she is actually being answered. Also the spirits she is very invested in, knowing the names of many. She beliefs vastly in magic as well and keeps totems and such around.

She was raised under the care of her pack, taught their ways and told about the spirits just like any other pup. The only female in a litter of four, her mother had high expectations of her, wanting her legacy to society to be respectable. She often engaged herself in rowdy play with her brothers, something that worried the mother. No, her daughter had to understand what it was to be a proper lady. She was a healer herself and she prepared Dawn to be able to contribute to the pack as they would grow older. Dawn would sometimes rather play, so in encouragement to spent her time on concentrating becoming a strong and balanced young lady instead, her mother told her stories about the Great Goddess and her children more often. Dawn became more and more intrigued as these stories were her version of fairy tales. She dreamed of coming into contact with this great goddess one day and her mother would laugh and tell her that maybe one day, in a vision she or her children would appear to the young wolf. Dawn was enthralled by the thought. And so it was that she came to dedicate herself to the Great Goddes when she grew into to adulthood. At age two she was separated from her brothers and allowed to choose. It was easily picked as her mother was a healer and a healer she would be as well. What intrigued her the mist was the spiritual part of her job and she found that was soon a problem.

As driven as she was in some aspects of her rank, she found herself neglecting others. This did not only make her feel alienated from her pack mates who developed their own social lives and pasttimes, but also made her feel like she couldn't connect to the spirits at all. It made her wonder why her tactics didn't work. Why her dedication didn't pay off. Her mentor however was quick to see fault and she took her pupil aside, gentle as the expierenced healer she was. It took only one well-guided talk to make Dawn see the errors in her ways. She realized that she had been ignoring those around her. Her obsession had been more important than carrying out duties that involved others. She had sloppely heard those out who sought councel and did little study on what she was supossed to to heal. She had neglected and thus disrespected her pack. How could she connect with the Great Goddess if she looked not after the pack she watched over? Change was needed and so a new goal was set. Contribute as her mother had wanted and serve both the Great Goddess and the pack as healer.

As she finished her studies, she had become known for her dedication to her rank, ever searching to stand by her fellow wolves in all ways a healer could, most of all providing spiritual guidance. She was well-known for visiting the high priestess at the time, retrieving the way of some spell or another, for herself or those who were nervous to ask. And soon she knew most by heart. Her niece and good friend Valka knew of this and it was she that became the pack's next Queen. When the high priestess had had her time and a new one were to be appointed, Valka asked Dawn who gratefully accepted. She would do this job and she promised she would do her niece honor by it well.

Elated Dawn took to seeing over the pack, providing guidance were she could. The archive of spell she knew by heart and she set out to discover even more spells, testing out things whenever she could.

He spotted one off from the ground, one of the floating ones. He always had found those particularly curious, 'cause they didn't seem to ever use it to enter or exit. Maybe it was some kind of escape opening. He softly bumped against Ko to get her attention, making her totem chime again in the process. He nodded towards the window. "There, if we can get in there, we could most likely get you some. We just have to make sure there's no human inside...or any other creature." He shuddered. The humans' pets could be just as bad. "
