Caring • Self-doubting • Humoristic
Closed • Bitter • Relentless
Eliah is overall a kind individual. They are compassionate and quick to help others. Their disposition is a soft one, be it not a little closed off at times. Despite their claim of irrelevance their own perceived mediocrity makes them struggle with self-worth. Having achieved nothing and subsequently having gained no mark stays with them despite it all and they will be quick to feel inferior to those who they are around. Often they will hide behind shallow smiles and jokes if they can, their joke-y nature hiding a darker side to themself. Where they are quite caring in nature when it comes to others, they carry much hate for those that foster the system that keeps the markless down. You’ll find them bitter and aggressive, showing a taste for blood that you would not expect of the horse patiently spoon feeding a feeble elder without teeth. Ruthless is perhaps a word best use as their eyes grow cold talking about what they consider the enemy, even if thar fact is hidden by a mask.
.:: History ::.
[-| Bulletpoint version |-]
[-| Pre-group history |-]
Eliah was born an average guy. Not great, not bad, somewhere in the middle and that was not too bad until you considered where he had been born. Tasnal. His parents were brilliant of course, accomplished at least. His mother had been a doctor, his father working the field of technology and magic and they had two children, each focussed on by a single parent to lay out the path towards succes. His brother would follow his father into the field of technology, Eliah his mother as doctor. They received schooling as all children did, all values firmly instilled in them as should be, their education planned to meticulous perfection. Yet perfection was not result.
Eliah was born an average person and grew up an average equine and in a society that required excellence, that just would not do. While his brother excelled in medical magic technology, Eliah struggled under the pressure and flaked out of his studies as doctor and as his motivation waned, not even quite finishing as a nurse. Having long left the house at age 16 to live alone, Eliah grew up markless like many and too stayed markless like many. With years grew bitterness. Anger over the culture of achievement, rancune about the rights that were denied for not being perfect. First he felt worthless without perfection, but as time move he started to wonder: why would he need to be? He found he could be useful, flawed as he was. He could treat patients that couldn’t get the medical care they needed because of circumstance, be it under wraps. He could pick up food for those who could not walk. He could make people smile. Yet someone somewhere had decided that wasn’t enough.
His anger reached a bowling point right before turning 32 as he walked through the non-citizen district and ran into a nervous young horse who looked so alike his brother when he first moved there, he had whispered said brothers name, only to get a confused look and a gruff clarification that was her brother. They soon enough realised they were related and Eliah helplessly offered her a place to stay in his communal home.
Having a sister he never met was weird to say the least. She admitted she knew she had another brother but he had more served as a warning than anything else. Two brother as example, one marked, one markless, one everything she should be and Eliah the result if she was not. Now his sister? She was brilliant, brilliant but with an undesired attitude. She talked back and was often rude with how short she was, clearly not most gifted when it came social skills and it cost her points. Critical thinking was to be covetted, but apperently criticising the accomplishments of others, others above her standing was not taken too kindly and as they benefited from flaws his sister pointed out, she herself got no closer to citizenship.
Eliah was 34 as he first had the lightest contact with the revolutionists, 35 he was no longer just flirting with it. He let all that resentment budding inside him, finally come to bloom. The whole system was corrupt and Eliah would help tear it down.

[Roleplay Example]
Taken from Starborn-Alignment
Leonardo looked on in amazement as the young Aodhian monarch spoke, presenting their herd with the legendary creatures of which he had only heard in tales and books. He turned away from the food stand, trying to get a better look, thinking the stall keeper would surely hand over the food to Ciel. Their king spoke, accepting the gift and filling Leon with thrill. This. This was it, no doubt. The start of peace, a moment that would go down into history and he was privileged enough to attend it. But it all ended in a moment. Gone was the excitement, replaced by confusion and just the slightest bit of panic as an ear deafening boom resounded and a bright light blinded him. It took a couple of moments for both his sight and hearing to return and by the time it did, horses were already pushing and screaming, panic taking hold of the crowd in the explosion's aftermath. Leon tried to keep his place, but was inadvertently swept away by the crowd, separating him from Ciel. He vehemently prayed the stallion would be all right in his current state. He took note of the pygmy dragons, who had escaped in the commotion, and the crumbled building, trying to make sense of what had just happened. A sense of panic again clawed at his heart, seeing the damage done by the explosion and he asked Argus to make sure that please no horse got hurt. He willed himself to stay calm, knowing panic would only make the situation worse. Looking around to see if he could find his old men, his eye fell on something else. A shadow between the nearby buildings, moving about in an awfully suspicious matter. His skin prickled as his eyes locked onto it, feeling himself moving forward. Something was off and as he steeled himself to push into its direction, his curiosity whispered for him to find out what was up.
