Today, the world is certainly a lot less super as we mourn the loss of Stan Lee. A humble genius who at one time commented that he wasn't sure that what he did meant anything, Stan Lee was a legend and he will surely be missed by many. He brought us fantastical worlds and infinite possibilities and provided not only escape but an opportunity for many. Rest in Peace, Stan Lee, thank you for being our superhero

I never thought that Spider-Man would become the world wide icon that he is. I just hoped the books would sell and I'd keep my job.

I used to be embarrassed because I was just a comic-book writer while other people were building bridges or going on to medical careers. And then I began to realize: entertainment is one of the most important things in people's lives. Without it they might go off the deep end. I feel that if you're able to entertain people, you're doing a good thing.

This man built my childhood from the ground up. I will never forget the first time I cracked open my dad's old Captain America comic book and was taken to a new world entirely. That was probably 9 years ago now. I'll never forget this legend.

A man, and a legend of its time, and beyond. We truly lost a great artist, writer and wonderfull person. Someone that created own worlds, universes and their awesome citizens. A creator of storys, that inspired many people around the globe, and let them take a break of the grey, everyday. He completed his journey here, and now sets out to a new one, with adventures, beyond the horizion.

Spider-Man was the first Marvel Super Hero I read and was one of my favorites. Yesterday I couldn't stop crying when I learned about this as it saddens me that we lost a great man who gave us so much. This was an excellent art tribute you made. R.I.P. Stan Lee, thank you for all the hero's you created for us to look up too and I hope you are at rest in Heaven.

I still respect him during and after he was alive. While I didn't get too indepth with the comics, I watched a good portion of the Marvel superhero movies that have come out in recent years and enjoyed my time I spent with a few of them.

I grew up loving Spiderman. He is my favorite superhero. He was relatable and funny.
On that note, my family would come together sometimes on the weekends to watch marvel movies. We had a running gag joke of spotting Stan Lee, we considered those "Spot the Stan Lee" moments as one of the best moments in the movie.
It makes me upset to know he past, i would have loved him to live on a little longer, but knowing he died peacefully is good enough. I'll miss him.

This man has been a household name in my families lives since we've had a home, for over 50+ years he's been apart of our lives. Stan Lee is a true inspiration and a legend, he is and always will be, my idol. Stan Lee has indirectly affected millions and millions of lives. He now lives in our hearts and our minds. I am no avid comic book reader. My mother doesn’t exactly encourage it, so yeah…..But even she admits that Stan Lee has done so much for the world, and I have watched the Spiderman movies with my family and to this day Spiderman remains my most favorite comic book superhero, and I am grateful for Stan Lee for creating him. I feel in a bit of lose because I did enjoy Stan's cameos in the movies and with his death it means that we will never see him anymore in the future movies, but....he has had a long and fulfilling life and....yeah, may he rest in peace.
