This is a tough one to call. While it does look very cool, I deeply love the original. It's feeling of shape-less-ness, it's almost childish features; but in a way that helps sell it's horror. It's the product of the subconsious mind, and because of that it's vauge. Our own imagination fills in the gaps with things that scare us.
. . . Wow, almost totally lost my train of thought. Anyway, I think if it was more transparent it would be a little more creepy.
