Finally, the Australian Guard! We have Kion the dingo (the fiercest), Fuli the kangaroo (the fastest), Bunga the Tasmanian devil (the bravest), Beshte the cassowary (the strongest), and Ono the kookaburra (the keenest of sight.)

Australia was difficult to make a Guard for. There are many introduced species that fit the bill, but many of them are invasive, and that's the kind of thing the Guard wouldn't support (the Mustang in the North American Guard is different, because equines actually originated in North America.) Anyway, finding animals for this Guard was tricky. I settled on a dingo for Kion because dingos are smart, capable, and they can be fierce when they need to be. Fuli is a kangaroo because, first of all, there needed to be a kangaroo in the Australian Guard, and second, because they can hop as fast as a car. A Tasmanian devil was perfect for Bunga, because these critters, while they may not be the strongest animals, and often rely on bluffing when things get rough. There were no large animals to choose from for Beshte. The biggest one I could find were birds. Birds of course aren't typically what comes to mind when you think of "strong," but cassowaries are actually very strong. They are built to shove through underbrush. And of course Ono had to be a kookaburra!

I once thought of different parts of the world versions of Brother bear, with alternate timelines, too.  How Brother Bear is set in Ancient North Americas or Canada (do Prehistoric era count as Ancient?) I imagined:

Brother Lion - set in Ancient Africa
Brother Tiger - set in Ancient India (probably in the Gupta Empire)
Brother Jaguar - set in Ancient South America (probably in the Incan Empire)
Brother Kangaroo - set in Ancient Australia
Brother Wolf - set in Ancient Scandinavia (probably Viking timeline)
Brother Shark - set in Ancient Maori New Zealand/Pacific Ocean
Brother Fox - set in Britain (probably at an era where Foxhunting was very common)

even if it IS Besthe; I'd still beware him as a Cassowary

Seriously;

CASSOWARIES ARE MUCH SCARIER THAN JURASSIC PARK;

No Feathers don't take away from how deadly they are!!

I think the only bird in Australia that’s larger then the cassowary is the emu although they aren’t as aggressive.

Did you ever consider a razorback pig for Beshte? Those are pretty tough animals

Sumu is a scorpion, right? From what I hear, Australia has no shortage of deadly animals; I'm sure scorpions are no exception! XD

I think the hyenas or jackals would either red foxes or feral dogs. The leopards would be feral cats and the skinks would be cane toads.

This series is very well done. I look forward to an Antarctic guard, as there are many non-penguins there. But given the dino guard, I hope for an ice age and perhaps a magical guard, like unicorns, dragons and such

and I don’t know who will be pumbaa

Rafiki could be a thylacine
Also I'm guessing the villains are redback spiders, saltwater crocodiles and Magpies, or even cane toads. Pumbaa could be a platypus

I'm aware
But I have a belief that there could be some thylacine populatioms left scattered across the outback. As well in New Guinea, and possibly Indonesian islands.
