After I finished this sketch and looked at it, I decided that it reminded me of this little figure, the Venus of Willendorf. Statues such as these can be found all throughout human history as representations of both feminine beauty and the potential for the creation of life. Venus, to me, is a name for any diety that enbodies those characteristics and not just a name for the Roman goddess of love. Hope that makes sense ^_^.

very nice for using ballpoint pens on lifedrawings im very impressed to c that ur able to keep hte image so clean and free from errored strokes. u have some great hatching and linework skill

Actually, the way I work with pen, I DO make quite a lot of mistakes at the onset. I just start out light and keep layering until they diminish. But, I also like the history of that process.
