Description This is "phase two" of a dark fantasy photo manipulation I've created, which I will also post. It's my very first "homemade" space environment, created using GIMP; techniques learned from the tutorial listed below.

I looked at a lot of NASA hubble images while I created this, and I think it turned out looking pretty real. It's my simulation of a nebula shot from the hubble. I purposely put in a lot of reds because of what I had in mind for the "big picture" [soon to be posted].

It's basically my own digitally created star field with a stock photo of the moon layered in, then manipulated to look like my own planet. [Looks a little Mars-y, I think].

You're more than welcome to use this image for your sci-fi or fantasy art. A favorite or link back to me would be great, as well as a note showing me how you used it.

GIMP seems really strange at first, but then once I started learning it, it became very easy. It seems like there's always something new to learn, of course! But... not bad for free software.
