This is "phase one" of a dark fantasy photo manipulation I've created, which I will also post.It's my very first "homemade" space environment, created using GIMP; techniques learned from the tutorial listed below.
I looked at a lot of NASA hubble images while I created this, and I think it turned out looking pretty real. It's my simulation of a nebula shot from the hubble. I purposely put in a lot of reds because of what I had in mind for the "big picture" [soon to be posted].
You're more than welcome to use this image for your sci-fi or fantasy art. A favorite or link back to me would be great, as well as a note showing me how you used it.
