Whoah, this drawing is awesome too. My dad collects old toys and we have a lot of Robbys and B9 figures.

Thank you. B9 is a classic design. I suspect people will still be talking about him in another 43 years!

I knew you would get a kick out of this. Some day I'll build a real one and also a Robby and have them stand sentry over my big screen TV!*lol*

Well, not to brag, but for a couple of years , my business partner and I DID have a full size Robby in the lounge at out shop. It was created from scratch by a friend, and was it beautiful! Dead on too! Sadly we had to give up Robby earlier this year, when the friend made room for him in his new house. It broke my heart. BUT we also have a set of body molds for the LIS robot! One of these days we swear that we are going to run the pieces and put him together.

Ok you bastard!*lol* You been holding out on me! How much for a chest, dome and arms? The chest can be rough fiberglass. Body work is something I can handle. The rest of him I can scratch build. Robby is a bit more difficult but if you have B9 molds, we need to talk!

They are not technically my molds, I would have to check with the owner to find out what kind of deal he would desire...if any. He might not care at all. Let me get back to you on this. Understand, it's a LOT of work to just lay up the pieces, and I will look into a price with my partner. Also, the bubble has to be custom made, and we also do not have a mold for the speaker plate/grill. That was going to be created in neon like the original. And don't forget shipping will not be cheap due to the size of the pieces. Just letting you know.

Ok ok...I'll build my own!*lol* I have had the bug to do it for quite a while. I just need to find accurate measurements. I have seen a couple of different drawings by Kinoshita. The lower have, I have already got all that planned out. The dome I figured would be tough. The collar wouldn't be all that hard, just repetitive as I would have to do each facet and link them somehow. When i start to build one, I'll post a WIP for sure! *lol* Any specs you can get me would be awesome!

Well, like I said, the molds are on loan, I just HAVE them, I don't have any specs I'm afraid. Understand I am not trying to talk you out of pieces from these molds, i just want you to know that it's going to cost a lot more than, say, a couple hundred bucks. My partner is back in tomorrow, and I can let him know someone is interested, and I can get you at least a ballpark figure on having us pull the pieces.

Ok.....grab a flashlight and under the cover of darkness, measure the height and width of the torso. I'll calculate the rest off that. *lol*

Trust me, I understand completely! But if the molds ever come up missing, don't look at me! *lmao*

Okay, I will be out of the shop until Monday next. I will talk to my partner about it and see about measurements, and a price quote.
