2nd and final drawing of my drawing project.She's a Hong Kong actress and cantopop singer.
Always wanted to draw her but couldn't find the time.
A4 size paper.
Blue ink biro pen.
A whole day to finish.

It's actually a remake of a 1970s Shaw Brothers movie called 14 Amazons. I prefer the original but this new version was still entertaining. You are right Richie Ren is in the movie. I also saw him in a movie called Punished with Anthony Wong.

Yeah, Johnnie To seems to like Ren too, he uses him a lot in his flicks... pretty much how I discovered Richie Ren. I'm a HUGE Johnnie To fan. My favorite Chinese actor, by far, is Francis Ng, who To uses quite often as well. He plays a helluva bad-guy.
I have "Punished", just haven't watched it yet. I need to watch "Fire of Conscience" too.

I've seen some movies with Francis Ng. He has a very laid back slow kind of acting style! I remember him in Young & Dangerous and Infernal Affairs 2.
Fire of Conscience is the movie with Leon Lai the singer? I watched it a while ago but I can't remember much about it.

Yeah, he was gold in "Young and Dangerous". Ng's performances seem a bit more introverted lately, but I think he plays a helluva bad-guy, like in "Gen-X Cops", "Heroic Duo" & "Full Alert". I thought he was hilarious as the baddie in the comedy "Fantasia". The most recent thing I've seen him in was "The Warring States". It got REALLY bad reviews, but I thought it was entertaining.
Yeah, Fire of Conscience is the one with Lai and Ren... haven't seen yet though.

You've certainly seen more movies with Ng than me! I think I've seen him more in tv episodes due to my mum always watching them.

I'm ok thanks Pauline! Just going through that phrase when I'm finding it hard to draw. It's on and off for me at the moment. But I'm in the middle of a drawing and I'm trying to finish it soon. After that I don't know if I will get anymore drawings done this year but we'll see.

Watched her in 'Tokyo Raiders' last night, her hair was in a ponytail though.....which was nice.

Trust me it was the whole day! A whole Sunday from what I remember! So the hours spent on this drawing in one day could be the same as another artist splitting that time over several days!
