I made a bet with my friend Ryuu [link] that someone would make a perverted remark about a photo she did of herself and she bet me someone wouldn’t and if I lost I would have to do a request art piece for her. Well I lost and here is her request. I drew her and her friend Rin as characters from a fan fiction Ryuu was writing.I had a lot of fun drawing this and I hope they both like my rendering of them in front of a Japanese Castle.

Thanks! I wanted the whole thing to represent the opposite nature of both characters. They stand together in friendship and yet they are worlds apart in every other aspect: Creator and destroyer, life and death and night and day.

Thank you! Rin is on the left and she's in a Japanese Princess kimono type of dress. The castle is based on an actual castle in Japan, but instead of putting a moat around it like the real one I made it land based rising out of a hill.
The picture itself is supposed to look like a movie poster or comic book cover since it is for a fan-fiction and I used to do covers for my own stories when I wrote them.
