Description
Chassey Blue is a former beauty queen who decided to become a member of the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) in Washington D.C. Chassey eventually rose to the rank of secret agent going on undercover operations for the agency.
When the Coyotes began their campaign of terror across the Midwest Chassey was assigned to track them down after their raid on Site-4 gave them access to advanced weaponry. The government outfitted her 1967 Rattler with Gridlock, an experimental weapon developed by their labs that launches an expanding grid of energy flares that combust on impact with any vehicle discharging an experimental gas that is capable of temporarily stalling and damaging almost any engine they come in contact with.
When the Coyotes took over Busted Hump Ski Resort located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and took hostages, Chassey was sent to resolve the situation peacefully if possible but she was attacked by Houston 3 when the Vigilante’s showed up as well.
After the intense battle on the slopes the Coyotes and Vigilantes escaped and Chassey having never experience combat like this was badly shaken up by the ordeal. Disillusioned by what happened Chassey quit the F.B.I. deciding she needed a vacation. Chassey begins heading for California when she runs afoul of the Coyotes again as they rampaged through the Canyon Lands on Route 191 Near La Sal Junction in Utah.
Teaming with the Vigilantes Chassey helped them defeat the Coyotes but instead of following the Vigilantes she became determined to get away from the madness of the their war. While traveling through Nevada Chassey decided to go to Casino City, Las Vegas to relax and flaunt her style only to run afoul of Boogie who was in town for the Disco Mania Awards and the other Coyotes who were attempting to raid the Galaxy Hotel and Casino.
Once again caught in the Coyotes and the Vigilantes war Chassey was once again forced to do battle with the Coyotes in order to survive and protect the city’s main wedding chapel from destruction in the process.
Once the dust settled and both parties escaped Chassey became bound and determined to make it to California for her vacation. Finally arriving in the windmill lined San Joaquin Valley in California Chassey was mesmerized by the beautiful farms and orchards that dotted the valley’s interior.
Chassey’s tour was short lived when the insane Beezwax attacked her as well as the farm with his mutated bees. Chassey battled Beezwax and defeated him. Deciding to cash in on her fame Chassey went to Hollywood and pursued an acting career where she wrote and starred in a movie based on her exploits in the F.B.I. and her adventures with the Vigilantes.
For Chassey’s car I was originally going to go with the 1967 Shelby Cobra but I instead went with the 1964 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe since I felt its body, lights and hardtop resembled the in game vehicle more closely, especially in the FMV sequences and the booklet.

If you don't know what Vigilante 8 is please read this:
In the 1970s the world was suffering from a world wide oil shortage. The USA was heavily dependant on affordable gasoline and was on the verge of an economic breakdown. Strikes, riots and crime were running rampant and all available law enforcement were brought into metropolitan areas which left the outlands unprotected.
The Oil Monopoly Alliance Regime (OMAR), a foreign multinational oil consortium had it's sights set on monopolizing the worlds oil trade and it's biggest opponent was the USA which opposed OMAR's price fixing schemes.
Bent on forcing the USA to its knees OMAR hired terrorist Sid Burn to go to the US and commit acts of mass destruction and chaos designed to send the country's economy over the edge. Sid immediately traveled the American Southwest and formed a gang called the Coyotes and began targeting American oil refineries, alternate energy sources and terrorized and robbed small towns and settlements along the way.
With nobody to turn to for help, a ragtag group of citizens victimized by the Coyotes led by the trucker known as Convoy banded together as The Vigilantes, who quickly became a major thorn in the Coyote's collective side.
Desperate to get an edge on his enemies and looking for a way to cause more destruction, Sid Burn heard the rumors of advanced weapons based on UFO technology housed at the mysterious government installation called Site-4 located somewhere near Papoose Lake, Nevada.
Ambushing Site-4 Sid's robbery went bad when the Vigilante's unexpectedly showed up and as a result the world's most advanced weaponry found it's way into the hands of both parties.
With their normal vehicles modified into rolling engines of destruction the Coyotes and Vigilantes now wage a war across the American Southwest with the fate of the USA hanging in the balance.

Again, I Love ALL Of Your Vigilante Artwork; The Car's Design Is Higly Like The FMV's Car, But In FMV It Was Even A More Clear Blue, Just Saayin'
The Only Thing That Bothers Me Is The "Gridlock" Because, It Seems Like A Static Here, But In The Game It Was Mobile, Perhaps I'm Not Noticing It Totally.
Man, I Never Liked This Car, I Was Rather Easy Killed If I Did 1 Mistake In My "Hit And Run" Playstyle, I Preffered Sid's Car More, Due To Better Speed, Handling, More Forgiving If YOu Did A Mistake And The 360° Special, So I Could Get Close, Fire Combo 4 Missiles, bull's Eye If I Could, Use The Afterburner Combo and GET THE HELL OUTTA THERE While Shooting The Mortar, Even My FAther Using The Alien's Shepp Dided With That Strategy
Anyway, Awesome Draw As Always, And I'd Like To Suggest Drawing Jonh Torque's Jefferson, It Seems Like A Cadillac Or Ford, Not Sure, Anyway, Keep Up The Good Job

When I do these Vigilante 8 pieces I mix what I like best about the actual in-game model, FMV Model and the real car I am basing it on. I almost always go with the color of the actual in-game car since its more vivd and the FMV model is always sort of duller in comparison.
I have no idea what you mean by the gridlock being static. They're balls of light and gas that shoot at people so they're not supposed to look solid. I use actual screen shots and got the flares as close to their in-game colors as possible with paintshop and photoshop.
I have John Torque's car on my to do list. It's actually based off a 1970s Lincoln town car. They're kind of like Cadillac's in size from that era but not as long.

Oh, then forget my comment about color
I didn't meant the gas, the gas and lights balls look excellent, great effects there by the way, i meaned the "Grid" or that thing in the car's hood, it's mobile in the game, but here looks like unmobile, perhaps my perception.
Just read it and looked for it on google, yeah, it certainly looks like Torque's Car, great job identifying his car.

Oh, then ignore that too, it's in fact a good idea lol
No problem, and yeah, i never played those cars because they broke the classic feel of the game, plus, i never evolved Clyde's limo, garbage truck, etc, retro is the best :'D

It Wasn't THAT bad, but it was quite difficult to use properly, i always stored 4 specials, 36 missiles and 36 cannon ammo, i atracted at least 3 of them to me, and then BLAM!, shock, while they were like that, i used 4 missiles combo and cannon like mad, then when the special move ended, repeat like 2 times, so i got a lot of whammys and a lot of damage, plus, small vehicules like Marathon didn't make it to survive; The good armor of the car helped it stand the punishment while retreating to get more ammo and repeat. But i too misssed his truck, it was just so badass looking and good overall characteristics to fit multiple gaming tactics.
Yeah, the NORMAL on was ok, but when you got all the salvage points and evolved it, it just looked too futuristic for me, so i better got killed and played back the usual one XD
I know, unlike most xbox games, this one would fit quite nicely to pc, i played it, and the graphics are simple, and the controls are pretty much the same of the PS version, exept some gameplay characteristics, perhaps someday they'll do it, until then, i'll keep playing V8 in my old rusty PS Lol

like the design I rember how hard it was to defeat her rival beeswax on the California Farm level but what I did was to defeat him was use the gridlock speical when he was in the water and shoot one of the metal pieces on top forgot what there well call and big wave comes and hits him

I did a similar thing except I would make Beezwax use up his special first which was easy since Chassey can outrun the bees then I would mine the irrigation ditches. He'd usually follow me in, get crippled by a mine and then I'd blow up those blue spigots to make the tidal waves hit him. Half the time it would blast him into more mines or I would gridlock him and homing missile him once he washed up on land.

So do I. I have Vigilante 8 and Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense for PlayStation. I love both of them
The only one I haven't played is Vigilante 8: Arcade which is a remake of the original.

Not that I dislike the Thunderbird but it looks nothing like the in game car. I'm trying to draw each of these as close to their real life counterparts vehicle wise.
Plus besides how they look V8 gave all their vehicles based on real ones a tongue in cheek name based on the real life cars. So when they refer to some truck as being a Stag its based on Ram, Moth is based on Mack, Rattler is based on Cobra and so forth.

Well, you don't so defensive. Yeah, you see I was thinking of doing a film adaption. But I was debating wether or not to do that alternate realty concept. So if I don't use that'll mean some things would have to be changed, like Chassey Blue's car. Due to the fact that the Daytonya is very valuable car.

I wasn't being defensive I was stating an opinion. You asked me what I thought of the Thunderbird as a car for Chassey and I said I didn't think it worked for her. No emotion envolved
If your going to go with an alternate that fits the timeline that isn't as rare or expensive you should look at her V8 Arcade vehicle. It's based on the 1971 Plymouth Barracuda. They're pure muscle, speed, from the right era and cheap to find.

thank you
cool
The comics you can get in volumes now. I think they are up to volume 20 or 21? Also they have original novels that tell the full story of the Governor.
Yes Daryl and his brother have not appeared yet in the comics but Robert Kirkman hinted that they may pop up at some point. In the comics the stories play out differently. Some characters that are dead on the show are still alive in them and vice versa but the show follows the same basic stories. Like finding the farm, the prison and so on.

Vigilante 8 and 2nd Offence are both awesome vehicular combat games but sadly there are not many up coming vehicular combat games going to be made.

I think like any genre of games it will have a comeback if someone does something innovative with it. Like personally I think if they did it like GTA4 or 5 where your in a giant sandbox level and enable you to steal or modify vehicles as well as combat opponents outside of the vehicles people would love it.
I think what holds these games back is they stick to the original format where your trapped in your vehicle and once its destroyed your dead when really someone should be able to abandon their main vehicle and be able to escape its destruction and be able to fight with a hand gun or machine gun while trying to obtain another vehicle and dodge being murdered by the opponents.
Like imagine if your on an expanded version of the Ski Resort from V8 and your vehicle is badly damaged but you can abandon it and make a mad dash down the slope to the Ski Lodge's parking lot and steal another vehicle and start grabbing power ups to put weapons back on it to defend yourself and defeat your enemy. To me that would be a good start to updating the franchise and bring it back.
