Just a thought, but i wonder what the outrage would look like if you used Obama image instead?
In my humble opinion the "chimp" cartoon in the NY Post wasn't meant to offend Obama but his administration.
I think (because i can't read the cartoonists minds) his intention was to point out that a chimp wrote the "stealitusfromus" bill, and now who's going to write the next one and nothing more (that's what i saw).
If the monkey comparison ( a weak one) with obama is what your looking for then it must be a fact, because that what people want to see, right?
I do editorial cartoons for papers and timing is everything, if the timing is one second off, the piece is toast.
The piece says to me(and many others) that now that the dumb chimp is dead who will write the next bill and nothing more.
