This is the hero from Edgar Rice Burroughs' "Synthetic Men of Mars."His name is Tor-dur-bar which translates to "four-million-eight"
He is not a man but a hormad (synthetic man) and the four-million and eighth one created by Ras Thavas, the Mastermind of Mars.
Below are the culture vats from which all hormads are created. Just steer clear of Vat Room No.4

Tor-Dur-Bar is maybe one of my top 3 protagonists in the whole series. Right after John Carter and Tan Hadron. Nice job here, the only thin I would have done is to make him even more disfigured.
And again I like to see action scenes. So the culture vats scene makes me happy.

Thanks dude! Tor-dur-bar is really cool, you are right about that. I think if you figure his face is pointed straight at you then he is more disfigured. When I drew him I drew the shape of his head and put a cross through it to plot the center lines, then I plotted his eyes where they're decibed and his crooked mouth and one big ear. So it kind of looks like he's at an angle to you but really he is facing you directly.
There will be more. Definitely.
